Google Adsense pays you approximately 30 days after the end of the month in which you become eligible to receive payment. You become eligible for payment only when your Adsense account reaches at least $100.00.  Suppose, for example, you started in January and at the end of the month you had not yet accumulated $100.00 in your Google Adsense account.  You would then need to wait and see if your January and February earnings combined equal $100.00.  If they do, you would be paid approximately 30 days after the end of the month of February, that is, you could expect payment near the end of March.

Another good reason to also use Adsense for Search is that you get to combine the earnings to reach the $100.00 payout minimum.  So if your earnings for Adsense for Content do not reach $100.00 in time for the current payout, but when combined with your Adsense for Search earnings they do meet the payout minimum, you will be paid accordingly.

So what is a good conversion rate for a squeeze page? The higher you can have it, the better it is. But overall, I aim for at least 40% conversions. That means that if I had 100 visitors to the squeeze page, 40 of them will subscribe to my list. I’ve had higher than that, over 50%, but I start out aiming for 40%. Then I keep testing and tweaking the page until I get the highest conversions that I can.

To create a squeeze page (or any of the other pages as well), you can use a variety of programs to help you do it. If you are comfortable creating a web page from scratch, then by all means do that. But if you are not familiar with how to do that then I would suggest using a combination of WordPress and OptimizePress. WordPress in general helps to create web pages very quickly, but it is limited in how much you can easily customize a page.

The surprise news sent shares of Google up as much as 7 percent to $708 in after hours trading. “They are aware that they’ve got this hodgepodge of companies”, said Roger Kay, an analyst at Endpoint Technologies Associates. But the gambles that make Google what it is have also made Wall Street nervous. Larry and Sergey will spend their time managing the larger Alphabet company, which seems what they were doing before anyway. “Alphabet is about businesses prospering through strong leaders and independence”.
